Good Morning Everyone,

I tried using the search function but sadly it was disabled! Please bare with me if I ask something that was already asked.

I am a 21 years old male and will be graduating in April 2014 with a College Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I currently live in Ottawa where a lot of my friends are either Military Police or the Royal Guards (unsure of the official title). I have been working in Hotels for the past two years as a Front Desk Agent. The reason why I chose the hospitality path was because I truly enjoyed helping other people. I went to Kingston a few months ago to visit with my family and I visited the RMC and felt that it's something I would of loved to do.

I've searched the positions through Forces.ca and I am highly interested in Resource Management Support Clerk.

My questions are the following:

I currently hold dual citizenship: Canadian & Italian would this prevent me for joining the Forces?

Should I start the application process now or wait until I graduate in April since they ask you for a copy of the highest diploma completed.

Is the RMSC a position that is in demand?

Thank you for your time.

This is why we often have the same reply already canned:  Have you used Google Search?

It's quite alright forget I even asked then.

Dual citizenship should not pose a problem, and found general answers regarding the other questions.

Thanks Sir Wallace.

Thank you for your time.

Start the process now, you don't need to be graduated to apply. Your interim transcripts will work just fine.
Dual citizenship may lengthen the recruiting process (due to more in-depth security checks that might be needed) but its not a hurdle as far as joining the army. (if you have lived in Canada for the recent 10 years, should be easier)

As far as positions, I have no idea.
