For the many former Hussars who lived in F-16, Cpl "Scotty" Dwyer was a legend. Scotty was a strong supporter of the Regiment through all his years of service and into his retirement. He will be sadly missed.
Good Morning
Please see included message from Frank Smith regarding the passing of Mr. George (Scotty) Dwyer.
It is with great sadness that I have been informed of the passing of George (Scotty) Dwyer. Scotty passed away yesterday at his residence in Pembroke in his 83rd year. He was such a proud member of the Chapter and when ever the reunions were held at Whiskey Jack Farm, Scotty and his lovely wife would be the first out there to ensure things were running okay. Scotty will be truly missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him.
Visitation will be at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke, on Sunday 17 March 2013 fro 2.00 to 4 o'clock and 7.00 to 9.00 o'clock. Service will be held on Monday, 18 March, 2013 at 1030 o'clock, at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 1 Mohns Avenue, Petawawa.
Regi Patriaeque Fidelis
