GI Joe has met his match

They guy that runs the site, Scott Dumits, is actually a serving soldier in the CF and a nice guy. I have personally met and purchased from him at a trade show.

i still think that the ultimate soldiers have better detail. it is nice to see some Canadian stuff though.

I agree but Scott is the only one out there who is making this stuff as far as I know.

I still have three original GIJoes and a bunch of manuals and kit up in the attic someplace.

Scott hired me at one point to sew the accurate OD green "combats" for the 10" GI Joe figurines.  I still have the pattern and a series of fabric pieces cut out.  I used scrapped "genuine" combats for the creation of these little uniforms, and set my stitching to its tiniest setting.... It took about 4 hours of work to make one set complete (pants and jacket) and it was accurate as possible, although I admit I sewed elastic to the pants cuffs to simulate the "boot bands"......

Those are pretty Detailed...

All the Airforce GI Joe is missing his coffee mug full of timmys!  ;D

Yeah, Scott does nice work.

The images of the OD combat pants and shirts are the ones I made.  Like I said I still have several cut-but-not-stitched ones in my storage unit.  Mine all contained a small tag inside that says, "Real Canadian Combats (c)2003" or something like that (I'd have to check the exact wording I used)
