DON MILLS, ON, March 2 /CNW/ - Kraft Canada Inc. is warning the public not to consume certain packages of Christie Chewy Chunks Ahoy! cookies. This product may have been subject to tampering with a small sharp metal object.
Effective immediately, the following code dates of Christie Chewy Chunks Ahoy! cookies are being removed from the marketplace. Specifically, the product being recalled is:

This product has been distributed only in Quebec, Ontario and at Wal-Mart in Labrador City, Labrador (Newfoundland and Labrador). No other Christie products are affected by this recall.
Kraft Canada Inc. is conducting an investigation of the suspected tampering and the case has been referred to the police. There have been no serious injuries associated with consumption of this product.
Kraft Canada Inc. is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has been notified of this recall.
