Hello,

A while back I stumbled upon milinet.ca post that had a recruitment person's number at a health services centre. I tried calling it, left a message, and nothing came of it. actually I tried contacting a bunch of units in toronto as well (the recruitment centre had given me their contact info), but still got no response.

I left my info with the recruitment centre so they can forward it the to the health services centre. I'm a little worried about the whole thing not being in my control, I think the reserve unit will contact me eventually but if there's anything I can do to contact them I want to do it. I am patient about the whole process, but I want to be able to follow up on it in case sometime down the line they fill their positions without ever looking at me as an applicant or contacting me. Does anyone know of a person I can talk to as opposed to the sheet of paper I filled out? The recruitment centre were helpful but they don't hesitate to admit they don't know a lot about the reserves.

Reserve units are largely stood down at this time of year AFAIK.

Better get used to it and stop worrying about stuff you do not control. If you join the military, most things will be controlled by someone else.

yea reserve units are ghost towns in the summer. try back in Sept when people get back from training.
