My son is going to Afghanistan next week with the  22nd.  I would love to read some of the news that is posted on these boards, but  my French is very poor and we have no contacts in Quebec.  Is there someone here who is bi-lingual who would be willing to translate some of the news on this board for me?  I am happy to phone  or otherwise, make it more convenient for you.  It is so hard to know that I am "out of the loop" of information available to local families.  Merci beaucoup.

I'm bilingual (francophone), but not often on the web...
There will probably be someone more often on the web who will answer.

You could also send p.m. (personal message) to some of the frequent posters.
There is also translation web page, like : http://www.reverso.net/text_translation.asp?lang=EN .
the translation is sometimes strange, but mostly understandable ...
