Hey all, came back from Afghanistan in late september, just making sure did we get a Hepatitis A shot before we went? I cant remember, i'm assuming so but im just wondering if any of the medtechs have any clue.
Your needle book SHOULD be in your possession! I keep mine with my dogtags and passport copy in a ziplock bag in my safe drawer. 8) What were you doing "sharing" drinks?
Or need I ask?????????? :blotto:
Fortunately for me, I've had soooo many Hep shots that I'm immune (yeah!) ;D
Go get it followed up at the MIR. explain it all. Inquire about a second dose of the vaccine.
If your worried, Inquire about getting tested. That is the best way to put your mind at rest.

How well does the vaccine protect against hepatitis A?
* After one dose of hepatitis A vaccine, about 95% of people are protected against the hepatitis A virus (HAV).
* After two doses of the vaccine, almost 100% of people are protected against HAV.
