I am currently having some trouble obtaining a copy of my high school transcript for my CFAT in 2 days. I know that a former employer requested it when i work there and wanted to know if they would give me that copy if i requested it for my military application. Thanks!

When I got mine, I went online and found the website for the school board then made the request there. It was in the mail fairly quickly and I had it in 2 days.. They MIGHT be able to fedEx it to you if you need it that soon, if not, then at least see if they can send you a copy asap. Mention it when you go in for your cfat. If it's on its way, they may just tell you to bring it in as soon as you get it. Another option may be to go directly to your old high school and see if they still have a copy there. It's a long shot, but if you haven't been out of HS for that long, they may still have it.

I would go to my high school to get it, but its currently 3000 Km away from my location. My school board takes 3-5 days for processing, and that's not including the mailing time. Heres hoping that my former workplace will give it to me tomorrow so i can run through the application process and hopefully go out to BMQ in September

Have them fax you a copy at which point you can at least present that to the recruiter... better planning next time may be in order?

I have my graduation diploma and i requested my high school transcript again just in case i cant get it from my past employer tomorrow

For me, I was able to just use my "unofficial" high school transcripts for the reserves. I had spent 20$ getting the official ones sent in when I didn't need to. Now those official transcripts are subject to a paperweight.

Double check and ask if they'll accept the unofficial transcripts. If not, well I wish you luck.

With the capabilities to easily forge documents these days, play it safe and have official/original/"Certified True Copy" documents when you are asked to bring them in.

Just because Heraske was allowed to bring in "unofficial" transcripts does not mean that your Recruiting Staff will accept similar documents.
