How soon is too soon to enquire?

I sent in my application on the 3rd of November, I understand due to it being so close to remembrance day the forces are busy, as well as things take time to process, but I've noticed that people have received confirmation of their application being sent to their recruiting office within days. I'm wondering how soon is too soon to contact somebody (who would this somebody be?) As to the status of my application. It's only been a few days. But I like to keep on top of things.

If you applied on the 3 Nov 14 you should of received a confirmation email stating your application was received. Within 2-4 days you should receive an email from your local recruiting detachment. If you don't receive an email by 10 Nov 2014, it is suggested that you may want to contact your local recruiting detachment by phone.
