How to post picture ?

How do I post a picture?
I have tried all the usual sources, searching etc.
I know there is an insert image function at the bottom of the reply screen but I can't get any combination to work.

When you post, you'll see a link for "Additional Options" just under the text box.

It will give you the opportunity to attach images.

I'm with you on that Michael but I can't get any photos that I copy into the link/browse line to work.
If I copy a photo off say Google images and try to paste it into the "link" box I can't get a "paste" function to come up.
Thought I had a clue on this stuff until now.

Save the image file from Google images to your computer.  Then use the "Browse" button to find it to  identify it in the "Attach" text box.

Alternatively, if you want to link to an image that is elsewhere on the net, you need to insert its URL in the message window and add the image tags:

http://regimentalrogue.com/rcr_great_war_images/7th_tm_bty_1_250px.jpg

Paste and then highlight the URL and hit the "image" button above the text window (first button, second row under the "B" for bold):

[ img ] image URL goes here [ /img ] (spaces inserted inside brackets to make the tags visible)
