When did we stop calling them "gloves"?  This from MERX:

.... The Department of National DEFENCE (DND) has a requirement for Engineering, Design and Technical Services for Canadian Forces Operational Hand Wear. The Offerors shall provide conceptual design, prototype development, manufacture of sealed samples, technical data and other support services during a three (3) year period with the possibility of a one (1) year extension.  It is anticipated to issue up to five (5) standing offers to qualified suppliers. The standing offers are required by the technical team within the Directorate of Land Procurement of DND ....
