Leave The Country ... ?

I am going on my BMQ November 21st, i know that there is a break for the holidays from December 19th to January 3rd i got this info from the CFRC who called the school for me, my question is, do i have the right do leave the country between this dates ? i want to see my family....the CFRC officer said that i should ask my Sergeant when i am gonna be at the BMQ and he will decide if i have the right or not.
Still i want some opinions, will i have the right ? Do i have chances ?

I think you have to wait and see as that is the impression  I am getting from what I've read around the board. Someone else will correct me if I'm wrong.  :-\ ;D

Maybe... maybe not. Depends on your course staff.  I know that when I had leave before, I was restricted from even leaving the city once because the leave was only a day and a half, so they were worried we wouldnt make it back into the city for training.

Well that makes sense. but, this guy is talking about the break at Christmas. 2 weeks is a heck of a lot diffrent than a day and a half.
Wolfe, if you are asking opinions I think that you have the right to go anywhere you want (don't go to Yemen though ;D). however, the CF also has the right to chuck ya if you are late, AWOL, get hurt, or get into S#!t where ever you go. If you will be actually aloud to leave...I have no idea.

Yeah... but it is christmas, and things do happen to get flights delayed more often at that time of the year.
