Looking for better ruck sac starp

I did a search, and basically, it turned nothing of what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for better ruck sac strap that will hold my sleeping bag pouch to the ruck. The ones I have are beginning to show signs of fatigue...as the green plastic is turning white from tightening.....

Any one has better straps I should be looking for??

Cargo straps with a metal retainer, instead of those crappy plastic things that slide.

Even this would work, if it comes in a different color.....Canadian Tire

A7A Cargo Straps ... find a cargo HLVW, there you will find the straps.  Ask the driver if he will miss them, if he says no, take them.  Cut them to a manageable size and voila, best straps you can get.  Leave them a little longer than the issued ones, the extra length will allow you to remove and replace the valise without completely undoing the straps.  Those straps will tighten and compact your valise much better, but will also ruin an '82 pattern frame if you over tighten them, so be careful.

LOL ... thats rich.  I prefer to use the term "liberated."  As in "Sir, I didn't steal those (insert items here), I liberated them from their suppressors."
