Hi,

I think of joining since I'm 20 (I'm 30). For many reasons (some good and some probably not :) ) i did not join so far. I have a business administration undergraduate diploma with a human ressources management speciality. I manage a big medical clinic in province of quebec since 2003. I would problably apply as a Health Care Administration Officer. I know I can join as officer with my university diploma but I want to know if it changes anything to finish my master in business administration? Do I go up the ranks faster?

Thank you

(I'm sorry for all those english mistakes, it's my second language)

A masters is always a benefit but you should probably start the application process sooner rather then later. There are some great opportunities to get your masters within the CF. The application/ processing times can be measured in years and seeing as you are already 30,  I'd suggest that you do not delay any longer.

"Going up the ranks" will depend upon the needs of the CF and how well you perform compared to your peers.

Read through older posts here and use the Search Function. You will find that most questions that you will have will have already been asked and answered.

Hi there,
I saw you are going to apply as reservist.Just curious how you are going to perform your job as HCA Officer being  reservist ?

easy, as HCA is also a reserve trade?

if he can find a field ambulance unit in need of one - he should be fine.

I met a RC in sherbrooke and he told me they are looking for HCA for the 52AMB (field ambulance). The HCA job is different in reserve and regular.

Regular : you manage a medical clinic
Reserve : you manage a pre-hospital service (EMS)

It's a bit more complex than that, but you could get down to this for a short story.
