Quick question. My neighbors son is looking at joining the Canadian Military and His father knows I am heading to BMQ on Jan 20th, but he is on a sleep aid called DAYVIGO.

Does anyone know if this sleep aid which is not a narcotic or a sedative will be accepted at BMQ, as He has always had some difficulty even at 30 years of age of sleeping.

I had no clue, so I said I will pass it it on. Any thoughts. Blessings.

So, this drug is a prescription only sedative-hypnotic, just works differently than benzodiazepine or tricyclic or "Z" drugs. He'll have to go through the usual stuff with the RMO - as to why's/wherefore's and if it's acceptable to be on it or not, what happens when he hasn't any access, etc, not mention the big question of why does he have chronic insomnia.
