Minor Allergy

I am looking to apply for ROTP in a few years so I have been doing some research on requirements. I was recently diagnosed with a minor allergy to dust (The only symptom is nasal congestion) so I am wondering how much that would limit my chances of getting in. I am taking nasal spray right now and I've seen an improvement. Should I do immunotherapy or would that hurt my chances more if I needed allergy shots.
Thanks for your help

Inconvenience allergies like minor nasal congestion, if they're controlled with nasal steroids or OTC new generation antihistamines, usually not a big deal unless they interfere with life or cause issues like barotrauma to your ears/sinuses/both.
