"Commanders in Afghanistan have asked for more of the mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicles the military calls “MRAPs”, while the U.S. Government Accountability Office says, "concurrent approach to producing, testing, and fielding the vehicles has provided an urgently needed operational capability, (but) it has also increased performance, sustainability, and cost risks."
