No it’s the Army trying to shirk its responsibilities.

That will be interesting to see as a lot of TOW are FMS/FMA as well it cancels the wireless TOW advances. I’m curious if it will survive the HASC and SASC.

Last war items.
Robotic Combat Vehicles - previously announced
Left hand / Right hand issue.
AMPV - losing 498 MUSD
Palladin Integrated Management - losing 233 MUSD
Pretty tragic hits to the Army as
1) the M113’s that the AMPV are replacing are not new systems.
2) PIM is a cornerstone of land based tube fires
Synthetic Training - losing 62 MUSD
Not surprising as several contractors have been raided recently in fraud related operations.
Geospatial - losing 50 MUSD
Redundant capabilities to other USG entities.
Electric Vehicle/Hybrid Vehicle - research stopped completely.
Which is (was?) the key attribute of all the NGACV

My sense is that the army is focusing on the next two years. Anything longer than that is getting cut. But the TOW doesn't make any kind of sense. Both the Russians and Ukrainians are still finding uses for SACLOS missiles.

TOW cuts makes a lot of sense if you are trying to cripple the Army and allies…

Any other big picture items on the chopping block Kevin? I can see the 6.8 being chopped soon (probably for the better).
