You know, I'm sure we're all still smarting just a little at the silliness at U Vic a few weeks back, ( the Student Union's abortive attempt to ban military recruiters from the campus). On the other side of the proverbial coin, I thought I'd throw this out there...
I'm an instructor at NAIT (The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in Edmonton and this item came up on our electronic bulletin board earlier, for both students and staff.

The Nest is the Student Lounge on the South end of the Main Campus, beside the municipal airport, (directly east of the Brigadier James Curry Jefferson Armoury). I just checked with the folks in our Comms Dept, and was assured that you didn't have to be a student or staff member of NAIT to attend. So....if anyone here in Edmonton cares to partake, please feel free...
