Good day all, I am currently researching naval trainers.
In particular, I am looking for information pertaining to VISTA, which was developed and is still being supported by Lockheed Martin Canada.
I am writing a business case study for a university class and I need such information as acquisition and procurement, impact on training effectiveness/or lack thereof of using virtual training versus live training (acquiring real equipment versus simulator and the like).
At this stage, my research is quite broad, but as I currently am instructing CIWS maintenance at the QL5 (Journeyman) level, I will most likely refine my topic to this particular area of naval training.
If by any chance you have some of that knowledge and could share it, I would greatly appreciate. As well, if you do know of people that could facilitate my research, please feel free to send me their contact information.
