I joined this site about 5 mins ago. Apologies if this question has already been asked, I am slated to start basic training in October 2014 (Infantry). I am a former US Marine Corporal, I have some medals and decorations and am wondering what the CAF policy is on rather or not I would be able to wear those meals and decorations? Just curious is all. Also, any advice on current knowledge or advice would greatly be appreciated by any active or retired Canadian Service Member, on any topic especially on how to progress quickly and effectively through the infantry trade. Many thanks to all those whom have served this great country and I am looking forward to joining the team!

I believe that if you have the proper paperwork you would be allowed to wear the medals you have earned but do not quote me on this
