New Regimental Forum for The RCR

The regimental website for The RCR has been expanded to include a discussion forum for members of the Regiment:

Has this forum replaced the Association forum?  I've not been able to access the Association forum for some time now.

If it has replaced it, did the Association forum membership automatically get included in the new one or do we have to log in again?

It was Artillery; however, it was A Battery, which has a special affiliation with The RCR.

There is one very important distinction which has to be made clear.  The forum noted in my original post is actually on a server storage space owned by the Regiment.  Those on the "smfforfree" are on free server space without the same controls over long term storage or protection of the data.  This became the issue with the Association's last message board that, after a few years operation, disappeared when the hosting company dissolved.  Anyone considering posting to any or all of these boards should keep in mind that only the regimental board (at this time) offers the intent for long term maintenance of the contributed images and information.
