I was playing around with an EOTECH 552 A65 and I'm not sure if it's broken or not.

When it's on and I hit the night vision button the red cross hairs disappear.  I can turn the brightness up and down but no change. When I hit it again the red cross hairs appear.

I haven't tried it with NVGs yet but I would guess that the NV button turns on a setting you can only see with NVGs right?

The thing is, I swear I've seen an eotech that had both red cross hairs AND green ones.  I could have sworn when someone was showing it to me they hit the NV button on the site the cross hairs went from red to green. I'm certain I've seen green cross hairs.

So what's the verdict? On an EOTECH what happens when you hit the Night Vision button. Is it supposed to turn green or does it bring up an invisible to the eye reticule?  If it is invisible where did I see green cross hairs?

I have never seen the green version but I can confirm that when you hit the NV setting, the cross disappears and becomes only faint enough to be seen with NVGs.

To boresight is simple if you have a PEQ mounted (that has been sighted correctly) shoot your lazer then bring your center dot on to it..

Night vision settings on CCO optics are just dimmer light that is not as visible during daylight. They will be visible through your PVS14 if for some reason you wanted to mount it behind your optic.

Eotechs with the green reticle switch are airsoft knockoffs, not real optics.

very true, do you remember if you saw ghosting on that eotech? easiest way to tell if it's "made in asia"
