I just received a posting message (by email) this afternoon and can't ask a clerk until Monday...  Can anybody give me an idea of what this means?  Really I just want to know if my family can finally join me...

4. MOVEMENT/STORAGE OF (D) HG AND E RESTRICTED IAW CFAO 209-28 AND

CFIRP CERT IAW FAA 32 INTERNAL ORDER IO M252188713 CC 3398BH FUNDS

c107 CATEGORY OF MOVE 02 APPROPRIATE GENERAL LEDGER IAW FMAS

Thanks!

Dude,

Sell all of your kit immediately, take the money run for the nearest rail track and hop on the first box car you can.  Make a plan to head south, way south.  While on the trip burn all of your ID, stomp on the ashes, and scatter them into the wind.  Do Not Make any contact with anyone for at leaste18 months, and when you do, limit  it to three words, and from a payphone, wear gloves.  Take on a new name like Badjagaloop, or something really out of character from you.

After reading this thread, ask the mods to delete it, and your profile!

Via con Dios, Amigo!

It means that the move of your family is "RESTRICTED" until such a time as you secure permanent accommodations for them.  Further in the message should be directions to register with BGRS regarding your relocation.  It can take up to a week for your information to upload into their system, so if you are not able to register, just give it time.

Love your response 48th!  Might be a good idea after I tell the wife we're heading to BC...  (She's never lived outside Ontario)

Thanks DAA!  I'm really, really glad to hear that...  ;D  Yes, the message did include instructions regarding BGRS, moving preparations, etc...

That would depend on the part of BC.  How about the cost of living in some, the winter driving on a highway that may be closed at anytime, the smell of dead salmon and rotten cabbage,  getting your car destroyed by snow/ice torpedoes while crossing the nice new bridge, stratas rules and fees, having Edmonton as your support base, having Edmonton as your support base (yeah it does deserve being mentioned twice), rain and rain rain rain....it never does really stop and if you are lucky the clean air testing (in a selective area only, all others get a free pass).

I also like that they have a really "strict" inspection for vehicles from other provinces that most of the vehicles in the province do not look like they could pass.  When I was having my inspection done everything the mechanic said had to be good was actually wrong with the last minute rental vehicle I ended up with.

Oh - and if you have renewed your licence in the last year save some hassle and obtain a driver abstract to bring with you.  Some of the people at the licence place have the believe that BC is the only one that has a graduated program and if your licence is not at least 2 years old they will try to put you on it if you do not provide an abstract.

One point,.....I think BC has scrapped the emission testing. [you can see my rant about Ontario in Radio Chatter]
