Preparing for Tests

Can anyone recommend any useful guides, books, websites...anything...that can help in preparing for the CFAT.  I'm also applying for an Officer commission in the British Army and I've heard that there is some pretty tough testing to go through with them as well.  I'm not overly worried, but my Math skills have all but dissapeared because I haven't really done much Math since high school (Politics/History major in Uni).  I want to be prepared though, and go in with guns blazing...so I was thinking of going down to the bookstore and picking up some study guides for SATs, LSATsm Math and what not...is that a good idea, or are the Aptitude Tests different?  Any help and input would be appreciated.

Overall, the test is not hard.  If you went throught highschool and remember the basic of what you have learned you will do fine.

What if your still going though high school?

It wasn't the CFAT that I wrote when I enrolled in the Res, it was the old test, there were 75 questions that you had 30 min to answer. I wrote it when I was in grade 12, I got 55 questions done and I got 54 right. So with a grade 11 1/2 education, I qualified for any trade in the CF. RMC candidates write that test in grade 12 as well and lots of them qualify for pilot and other trades that require a high score. You know early on whether or not you're going to university, if school isn't your thing then go for a trade, whatever floats your boat. Liking school of course doesn't mean you should go for MARS or Air traffic control, if you want to be a grunt, go for it.

Cheers
