PRETC Kit Issue

Hey everyone,

I have looked around and seen a little information but would like a little more. I have just recently did a component transfer and I am going to PRETC before being loaded onto my 3's course. I am also switching to a new trade, which has different uniforms, cap badge, as well as a new rank. My question is will they sort me out when I get to PRETC or do I have to get this stuff all on my own? My reserve unit has not been helping me out what so ever.

I'm on PRETC currently, and have seen a few CT's come through in the past bit. A friend of mine arrived from a different trade and element, and he was sent to the QM as part of his in clearance to go get his new uniform items and whatnot. So I assume you'd be sent to do the same upon arrival.

I know when I cleared into PRETC I was given the opportunity in my first week to go to the QM to get anything I needed for my new posting there.

buckwild,
while you are in a one trade in one unit, you are entitled to only a certain range of equipment.  It certainly won't be same said unit that is in a position to provide you with the kit you may or may not need in your new trade - in your new unit.
If your current unit isn't all that helpful - what is it that you require of them.
If you have specific questions you need answered, have you thought of asking the people through which you went thru to CT/PRETC?  If there are questions that you believe your unit should be in a position to answer, put your questions in writing and get the OR to forward them thru to those who can answer them.

Have you received any joining instructions? (there should be clues there)
