Proper Degrees Needed for Officer Position

I like to ask for one to become an Officer in the Military. What is the best type of Degree to Have.
If someone has just a General Education Degree from a recognized University in Canada. Would they still qualify in education requirements to apply as an officer position for one of the areas of the military? etc?

As I have almost all credits now to get a General Degree. I can continue my education but i was looking at working options now too.

depends on what occupation you wish to do. All info is on the canadian forces website as to what degrees are acceptable for what officer occupations.

Click on the officer box, select search, and all the officer jobs will pop up. Select and read.  Everything you need to know is there.  Just a small note, a couple of the engineering related ones for the navy are vague on degree requirements - they do need either a B.Sc or B.Eng.  If in doubt, call the 1-800 number on the site and ask.

Generally speaking, the medical and engineering related trades have specific education requirements as do a couple of others.  Many just require having a degree.  Again, if in doubt, call and ask.  That is what the recruiters are there for.
