Questions About Reserve MM Tech QL3 PLAR

Good day, I was wondering if anyone had any experience in dealing with trade specific PLAR, in this case for Materiel Management Tech. The reserve handbook provides the example of Red Seal cooks having reduced QL3 training. In my case, besides a college diploma in business administration, I have a Red Seal for Parts Technician and am most of the way through earning my SCMP designation through Supply Chain Canada. Would these provide me with anything towards QL3, or are they more likely to be applied towards DLN equivalents? I know going from military to civilian, MMT QL6 is required to challenge as a Red Seal Parts Technician, but obviously it is not a one to one comparison.

I suggest that you obtain a copy of the Qualification Specifications for MMT, and the QL3 Course Training Standard. You should then able to directly reference how your training meets the specific requirements. Your training department, or more senior MMT should be able to help you with this.
