List:
My granddad achieved the rank of Sgt. while serving in WW2, I was
wondering if someone might be able to give me an idea as to what the
rank of Sergeants responsibilities were and the duties they had to
perform. I am in the process of researching his military background
nothing mentions what he was responsible for. Since he was killed in
action I am unable to get a first hand account.
Since I am a lowly civilian writer, I must rely on those with experience
in the field to assist me here -
Sincerely Derek B. Shanks
