Greetings..
Is anyone on this list going to the RCAC conference is Victoria next week? My RSM can't go and I got the nod.
Don't even know what the dress for the meet n greet is.

If your RSM asked you to stand in his stead, he should be giving you the joining instructions, itinerary, and relevent points he wishes you to bring up at the round table discussions. The conference is based on interaction, amongst the attendees, in order to solve problems as perceived by the Corps. It is far from a attend and "listen to lectures format". Your participation and input could feasibly have impact on Corps policy for years to come. Make sure you're prepared to site the problems, and give solutions, relevent to the Corps and your Regiment. It is also packed with the high priced help, dress and deportment should be accordingly. There is also a dinner that will likely require your mess kit. If you can't lay your hands on the instructions, PM me tomorrow, and I'll try get you a copy, be forwarned though, I'm on leave at the moment.

Doog, knowing your RSM, I'm not too surprised.  Disappointed, but not surprised.

Your OR may have a copy.  Actually, they should have.

Meet and greet in the past was always suit and tie.  It should come as no surprise that most wear Regimental blazer and tie.

Thanks, but as it turns out, it was my own fault. I missed opening an attachment of an attachment (of an attachment)of an e-mail. I got all the info now.

As to my RSM filling me in..he did, but the ROR distributes Admin Instructions from outside, not the RSM.
