I served with the 2 RCR B Company. We were the jump company at that time.
Nearly went with the 2nd to Germany in the late 60‘s but was confined to Canada
and U.S.A. for specialized training. Canada voluntered assistance for the
Vietnam mess. Canad was involved but we don‘t admit that. Was a batallion
machine gunner. Trained in [ late 60‘s I think] with the 82 Airborne. R.C.R. Air
borne unit had some credit at one time, still does I think.
