Hello,

I hope this is the right section. For those candidates selected to undertake the MOTP at a registered medical school, do they receive a salary of 2ndLt or is it an officer cadet salary while studying?

Warm regards

MOTP members receive pay as a 2Lt while a medical student. All books and tuition costs are covered. Current pay is about $4500/month, and can be found at the following link:

2 Lt - med student
Lt - resident in Family Medicine
Capt - full duty after passing all licensure exams (eg LMCC, CCFP).

Thank you for the reply! It's true that I must wait until I receive an acceptance to a Canadian medical school before applying for MOTP, correct?
