Just a question for the Regular force Units that surf this web site, how much information do you get, an how often do you get info from the Chain of Command, just out of curiousity....How much notice do you receive, just curious.

As sometimes its a crap shoot when it comes to training, taskings & opportunities within the reserve world of things, guess one of the major differences between part time & full time soliders.

I am not sure what you are refering to.

We have weekly O groups (also called coords, A&Qs, conferences, or meetings depending on the nature of the topics discussed), which are for passing vital info thru the chain of command.

And alot of email correspondence.

Amen brother - there is hardly an occasion at work where we are all in the building at the same time, what did everyone do before the invention of Email and the Internet?

Training, taskings and opportunities in the RegF are all part of the job - we get paid the same regardless of what we do.  I remember having to breathe down the neck of the SOR staff at my Reserve Unit for any jobs or upcoming courses - in the RegF it just happens and you will eventually get the email...
