!st battalion Royal Highland Fusiliers - Stationed in the Hemland District of Afganistan lost one Member of the battalion Cpl Barry Dempsey Died of injuries received in a road side bomb.
the Repatriation ceremony for the late Cpl Barry Dempsey will now take place at RAF Lyneham on Tuesday 26th Aug, there will be a Fly past in respect to Cpl Dempsey was a Medic with the Fusiliers and had been in Service with the Battalion for 10 years.
Cpl Dempsey leaves a Wife and two Young Children. Our thoughts are with the Family and his Friends and Battalion.
