reserve hockey question.

Can anyone who wishes play on their reserve team (i understand if 100 people want to it is not possible)
but is it very competitive to make the team?
are they generally guys who have been playing on teams sine they were 6?

any reply/insight is helpful

Im not in the reserves, im a high school student. This seems like a good place ask. I play hockey every winter when the rinks are frozen but i know i cant keep up with guys who have played for 10+ years

Rather odd questions.  Usually if a Unit is going to form a hockey team and they announce the fact to their members, then they are looking for players.  Not knowing any of your Units "players" I can't make any definitive statement as to how competitive it will be to make the team.  Who are these guys anyway?  Maybe they have been playing since they have been 6; maybe not.  How long have you been playing?

To be perfectly honest.......Your questions have no place here.  You should be asking those questions at your Unit, and doing your research there.  All we will do here is tell you a bunch of lies and tall tales.

Im not bad, but at this point of course organized hockey players are better than me

Perhaps that would have been pertinent information to share with us initially?

Regardless, nobody here knows which unit you plan to join, and even if they did, unless they know you very well along with every other player on the team, how are they going to be able to answer this question?  If you're really that interested in playing why don't you contact the reserve unit, get the coach's number, and ask him/her what the skill level is like on the team?

Better yet, why don't you just try out?  You're either going to make it or you don't.  It's not like they're going to kick you out of the reserves if you don't make the hockey team.
