Hello, I have a question regarding Security Screening. I am a permanent resident of Canada serving in the Reserve Force. I have already completed BMQ and DP1 and was offered a deployment. Later, I was informed that a security clearance was required. After submitting all the necessary information, I was told that the procedure had changed and that things are now done differently, as I understand it.
My question is: has anyone encountered a similar situation, and is there anything else I can do in this case? If the deployment is scheduled for the end of January, it seems likely that I no longer have enough time and that I probably won’t be able to go.
