Simon Sigurdson ??

Hi All!

Was just wondering if anyone out there might know anything about my Grandfather, he died before I was born and I'm just looking for any information that may be of any interest whatsoever.  His name was Simon Sigurdson, he was Icelandic and from what I understand had a very gruff attitude.  He served in WWII in the PPCLI, I think I got that right, anyway, I was just curious to see if anyone possibly knew him and had some kind of story to tell, good or bad, I am indifferent.
