Status of Infantry trade 2015

Hi there,

Just like many others I have been applying for the infantry soldier trade on and off for a few years now. Just wondering if you can shed some light on the status of hiring for his trade in the new year? Also, on average how many NCM's are hired for this trade per year, if you are able to disclose that information.

You can find a list of the occupations that are currently open for application (now hiring) on the Forces website here. Infantry Soldier is currently open.

If you have already applied to that occupation, you need to follow up (call, email, in person) with your nearest detachment, once a month, in order to keep your file active.
