Finally a question - how many troops were in MOntreal for the surrender of the French Garrison in the summer of 1760? If you answered 18,000 you would be close. Only 6,000 were Brit Regulars - the rest were New England Militia Men - note these were not Minute Men - has anything chnaged given what we see with the National Guard in the Gulf today? Regulars quickly run out of troops for a long war.....
