Terrain analysis

Would anyone out there have a a current handout on terrain analysis? A word doc would be great. Or a link to similar simple training handouts. 

I had one from Gagetown in 2004 Tactics School but it seems to have hidden on me.

I want to try applying it to the Canadian area of operations for Ypres 1915.

I have the maps for Ypres but its been a while (yes I fly a desk) since I last worked with it.
