the next rambo?

Currently i am only 16 years of age... i live in nova Scotia.. i am very intrested in join the reseves In a few months.. i was wondering should i stay in the reseves for a few years (till age 18) then join the army.. and what should i pick.. arty or infantry.. i know this sounds redneckish but i am an excellent shot i have been hunting since the age of 7 .i own many rifles and shot guns.. from 410s, 20ga, 12ga and 10 GA..and rifles form ruger .22, remengtion .308, lever action hip shootin .30-30 marilin (my fav cowbow weapon) my personal reminton .270 BDL and the high power 7mm mag.. i have made my very own full auto .308 out of my father old hunting rifle.. i filed down the retaining pin ( not the right ling-o) i can shoot a 5 inch group at 100 yrds (3 bullet grouping).. i am physically fit or close i can bench 120 and run 5k twice aweek.. now i know that isn't much but i plan on getting better in the months to come...

PS i dont have the highest grades in English as you can tell.. but i am not stupid.. i know how to flank and monover around the enemy(deer) and out smart... plus make highly accurate shots at 250 yrds (shot my first deer at 250 yrds with my dads 7mm mag.. that rilfe got mean kick she kicks like a 10 ga) decided by the time i join the army (18) i will ahve my grade 12 education

hey i was jsut kidding about me being a rambo" but i was jsut wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction i would really liekto be a sniper. i know a guy hes in his early 30s he jsut left the forces he was a sniper im not sure why he left maybe of the age limit i do not know but i was wondering what i ahve to do to become a sniper

Geoff - use the "search" function to find info on snipers. Use the FAQs to answer most of your other questions. Figure out the "spell check" function.

Lad, you're a great advocate for   law abiding gun owners (NOT). I thought to own a firearm in Canada you had to be 18. Admitting to an unlawful act on converting a firearm to fire automatically on this site is just not on, and one of the most idiotic things to say. Its people like you who give decent gun owners a bad name. Infact you should be charged and have your firearms confiscated and be PROHIBITED from owning such, and if your dad knows what you have done, he too should be charged and have his firearms confiscated. I would suggest you grow up, and ammend your post accordingly.

So Wes based on your professional opinion since you work with firearms, do you think Geoff is telling the truth or is full of it?

Put it this way, so full of it, his eyes are brown, but still to even fantisise doing such is unhealthy at best. Pull the plug on him.
