There are certain moments that make me proud to be a part of this elite community.
This is one of those moments.
My Hubby is currently out of Province on Ex. I came home from work on Monday, our horses broke the fence. With our 2 small children in tow, I tried to fix the fence but just couldn't complete this task by myself. On hearing my plight and my troubles, My husband's friend drove out on Tuesday ( keep in mind I live about 40 mins from the base in Edmonton) he fixed the fence and even offered to come out later in the week to put up the rest of our fence for me. He didn't except offers for gas or anything. It is times like this, that I feel proud to be a part of this huge family. Just knowing that if I am ever in need, that help from this community is only a phone call away.
The simple word Thank you is not enough.
