Topic ideas for a Master's Thesis Military / Management Related

Good day all,

For those that have been in longer, or might have done this as well as part of a continuing education.....I am looking for suggestions for a Master's Final Thesis in something Military  / Management related. If you have some ideas, please PM me to share....Your suggestions are duly appreciated

The Canadian Forces College maintains a document called the Strategic Topics Research List.  It is a list of topics requiring research by the CAF for use by Master's students, PhD students and academics.

The document is sizable (70 odd pages) with lots of good questions.  Questions for inclusion in the list come from the RCN / CA / RCAF / CANSOFCOM / CJOC / ADM(Mat) / SJS / CFINTCOM / CFLI / CIDA / CSIS / DFIAT / DHH / MILPERSOM / DRDC / PCO / RCMP / RMC / ETC.  Interesting stuff.  There is lots of military management type stuff in that document the last time I checked (which was about 6 months ago).

If the topic is management you could compare SpaceX to United Launch Alliance and explain why two companies offering similar services (space launch) using similar rocket technology charge radically different prices (SpaceX lists launches at $50 million, while ULA charges $400 million).

A thorough lay down of these different management philosophies would also help explain why defense items cost so much compared to civilian counterparts, and (if used by program managers) would provide some leverage to bring costs into line.
