Transfering To Reg. Force

I recently joined 4RCR.  I start BMQ October 19th, and SQ starts mid-february ending June 17ish.  I want to be transfered into Reg. force and start training over again as soon as possible after I finish school (around June 22nd).

My questions are: when should I start doing my paperwork for transfer?  Will I have to miss the end of SQ?

Start your transfer NOW because sometimes it can take awhile. As for course there is no sense on you starting your SQ you would most likely have to do that over again anyway since you time in will be hardly nothing. Your best bet would be to start your paper work now, and talk to a recruiter or someone in your unit that does recruiting and see what they say about SQ

My 2 cents is...call/drop into your CFRC and ask them.  Might as well get it from the SMEs.  Well, that is if you goal is to Component Transfer (CT) to the Reg Frce.

I am in the process of a CT, so is my MCpl.  My Cpl decided he was going to CT, and yup you guessed it I contacted the CFRC and sent him down there to talk to the Recruiters.
