Transformers sound effect

Remember the transforming sound effect from the cartoon? I know the effect was there but not nearly what I expected it was twice I think.  Is anyone else as dissapointed as iam? If you dont know what I mean then I can explain, but i dont think I should have to.

I think they got it right at the very beginning during the first transformation (can't remember exactly who) but the rest of them were a bit off. it seemed like they were trying to distance themselves somewhat from the cartoons by adding their own flare to it all.
