Maybe the repeal of MinnesotaCare for illegal aliens. Hortman was the only Democrat in the House to vote for repeal. But Hoffman reportedly did NOT vote for repeal in the Senate. Whatever is in the "document" obtained by police should provide the best answer to questions of motivation.

One connection to Trump arising from the Minnesota political shootings.
I proposed that thread be reopened last week, it’s still locked. I’ll take the opportunity to repeat the suggestion.
Regarding the attempted and completed assassinations, ABC has a much more detailed story. Police were proactively checking on the safety of other politicians, and arrived as the assassin was exiting the residence. He opened fire on them and fled. No word if any police are hurt.

“The list included dozens of other Democrats from Minnesota, including Gov. Walz, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Sen. Tina Smith and Attorney General Keith Ellison, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the matter.
Law enforcement officials are looking into whether the suspect may have been motivated by extreme views on abortion, the sources said.”
