Interesting, the page has Canadian Content at the bottom!!!

NS

The M107 does NOT have the SLAP chamber of the M82's (which made it such a mess accuracy wise)

Its been fielded for a while - the XM107 project ended in 2001 with the Barrett winning...

Not being a Johnny Sharp Shite how does it compare to the Mc.Bro. Tach .50.?

Different animal - gas gun with a higher rate of fire - slightly less precision.

IIRC the Mc Tac was not a qualifier for the XM107 project due to it not be able to be "broken down"  - the EDM ARMS Windrunner was the other short listed candidate as it has an UZI like barrel nutthat allows for barrel removal and RTZ.  The Windrunner is a bolt action design - more to follow when I get to work and pull the site up etc.

From what I remember the SOR for the LRSWS was written with the WindRunner as the "concept" gun with the ease of dissassembly and adjustability key.
