Bob It must scare the BeJesus out of the brass that observe this page to know that someone that has your drive for discipline and pride has influence over someone that is still in! I wonder if you can tell me why the retirement age for the CF Reserve is 55? I‘ve heard that this is a faily recent change from 60? and I wonder what caused the change. I‘m saying this because as my time grows shorter with the Reserve, I have a greater appreciation for the old adage of "Youth and Skill will always be overcome by Old Age and Treachery". I have listened somewhat listfully to the ‘Old Guard‘ talk of the days in the Regiments prior to amalgamation, harrassment and SHARPP and wonder if the pendulum should begin to swing back to a time of sanity within the CF?
If no one picks up on this topic I‘ll repost it as a separate heading and see where it leads us, OK?
