So you‘d like to have a union, eh? I would love to see the look on your face when the troops are in the midst of a collective bargaining bull session when you decide that the patrol information gathered on last nights‘ operation wasn‘t up to the ‘usual standard‘. I don‘t know if it would be classed a a lynching or a fragging but the end result would be the same...scratch one officer and the next willing victim would step into your hole.

Can you imagine the lack of trust and fear that would result in the creation of a union within the CF? I would ask you to examine any union that has had a strike in the last twenty years and tell me that there would not be any anymosity between union and management. I would then ask you how many were given automatic weapons with which to carry out their assigned tasks. What would be the survival rate of management in those circumstances? If you think that soldiers are not capable of such retrobution, think again and give your head a shake. I think that you have been removed for too long from the pointy end for you to make a statement like that.

All the Best
