Question,

I am going to buy a new SUV in a few months and I heard someone talkin about a website that you can run the VIN number and it will tell you everything about its history. Anyone have any ideas??

carfax.com, I think.....if it's new, why do you need to run the VIN?  Just curious...

Must be used then or it ought not have a history ?

Sorry I stated that wrong, its going to be a used SUV but new to me! I want to run the VIN to check the history on it and make sure its good to go

Do that and make sure you take it to YOUR OWN reputable mechanic for a look see.  This is a must if buying privately and no truly reputable dealer will mind.
